Steven took the day off from work yesterday, we kind of needed a r&r day. So we took a ride to Lancaster PA. Its north west of where we live. Amish country. The clouds were peeking in and out all day.
We saw some really beautiful farmland.
Along the way we met some cows:
And I just couldn't resist taking this picture of this bay Alpaca.
Just so cute I wanted to take it home.. “Not so much”, says Steven.
I just love seeing the horse and buggies..
And we stopped at the Market to get some pumpkins.
There was this really neat way to bale hay.. Horse driven.. It was so cool to see.
Haha we entered this town. Steven said absolutely were we NOT staying at this place.
Last but not least, I got some new Giraffes at the gift shop at the Shady Maple.
The first one is the bigger one of the baby one I have, the second one has real fur on it and stands about a foot tall. The third picture is a close up of that one and the last one is a little one inch giraffe carved out of stone.
All in all it was a wonderful day. It was nice getting out, and it was nice getting home.
