Cookie… Biscottina Coccozzella

Its been a while since I've updated this . So much has gone on .The first few months of this year were quiet. Getting over the holidays, fighting flus and bugs. As for me, fighting off pain. Getting tests to find out I have bulging disks in my back as well as spinal stenosis which is what is causing my leg and hip pain and making it harder for me to walk at times. Fighting abdominal pain, yadda yadda yadda..

A great thing that has happened was that I found my long lost friend. Sarah. We were tight years ago.. soul sisters. Did everything together.. we lost touch due to life happening.. well.. we found each other on facebook and its been wonderful ever since. Sarah is such a sweetheart and we always have such fun. We have been using skype almost everyday to see each other and talk. I am looking forward to a visit from her soon. She now lives in FLorida. I am soo glad we hooked back up. Life has taken some turns for both of us.. and now.. we can continue in life with each other.

On April 1st we adopted a yorkshire terrier pup. SHe was 8 weeks old when we got her. We named her Biscottina .. We call her Cookie. She is adorable and is totally my baby girl. She loves to cuddle and like any child gets sooo excited when her daddy comes home, or when sonny comes home from school, or even when we have company. Shes definitely very curious as well as fiesty.. Sooo My Girl.!! Here are some pictures of her. She weighed in at 4 lbs when we got her and isnt expected to be more than 7 lbs full grown.

As you can see she is soo adorable. Just a little love with a big heart.

Well now that the weather is nicer, we will be taking day outings so I am sure I will have tons more to post again of all our adventures.. Thanks for stopping by.. Love you all.. Reets.

Biscottina, (Cookie)

,Well well , one of my dreams, once again, Steven made come true. Steven took me for a ride on Wednesday night, not telling me what we were doing or where we were going. When we just about reached our destination point he told me we were going to buy a Yorkshire Terrier. Can I tell you it’s the dog of my dreams? I’ve always admired them and always wanted one.

Especially as of late , Ive had the need, the desire to have a baby, something I could love, pamper, cherish, spend time with. We got to our destination and the breeder was more than kind. He brought the two girls out to the car.. And there she was.. Biscottina. I fell in love with her immediately, and it was reciprocated.

Here are some pictures of her. You can really see the terrier in her, Steven says, buy the way she plays and reacts.. as for me.. I can see the little princess in her. Shes mammas girl when she wants to cuddle and sleep, and daddy and sonnys girl when she wants to play. Steven is being more than kind, letting me spoil her, but not allowing me to be frivolous. He is using his common sense when it comes to buying her things, like toys, food, grooming supplies. I have to tell you though, he picked out her first sweater.. Yes he did!!! In as much as shes mammas girl, daddy has a soft spot in his heart for her too

She is weighing in at just under 4 lbs. She wont be more than 7.

Valentine's Day

Well its been a while since Ive posted. Things have been kind of quiet what with all the snow and being sick. Nothing really new to report.

Sonny did have his first school dance.. Yes indeed. He and Jess went together. He bought her a corsage .. How sweet was that??

Needless to say my little boy is growing up. We went to dinner on Sunday with Mom and Dad, Jess and Sonny. Exchanged some really cool Valentines gifts and had a great time at Friendlys. The kids had fun. Three generations celebrating Valentines day.. How cool is that !!!

Looking forward to the warmer weather. Our daffodils are already coming up!!!

Ive been working long hours with my card making .... i feel sometimes I even work in my sleep!!!

Health isnt that great.. hopefully will be better when the warmer weather gets here.. Gosh, I smell cinnamon.. Go figure !!!

Tree Trimming Party

What a fun day!!! What a party and what a nice time. Our tree is beautiful. We bought a Frazier Fir tree, 8 footer. Steven had it up in the stand with the lights. Our guests arrived.. First Christian and Kim, our dearest friends.

There's Christian opening up a nice bottle of wine while Kim opens their gift. We had the dining room table pretty much set up with snacky foods and decorations. The table had some SVGcuts gift bags on it. The three standing soldiers up on the window sill were also from svgcuts, used on a big gift bag, and the reindeer centerpiece on the bookshelf.

After a bit, Mom and Dad arrived.  Then our dear friend Holly, with her two children, Jess and Aiden.

Even Mandi was able to be with us on the laptop through Skype and got to share in the fun!!!

Tree trimming abound. Everyone was having so much fun putting on the ornaments, but I do have to say , that little Aiden was most enthused and really took care of the bottom half of the tree!!

Everyone was having a great time. Eating, drinking, laughing, talking.

And of course we cant forget to mention Bagheera.. lurking and seeing how he could cause some trouble

   Even the turtles and the iguana were having  a great time.

And there she is , our tree. The most beautiful tree we ever had. We usually do a themed tree. One year it was blue and silver, another it was all white and gold, one year it was copper and gold.. This year, it was the best tree of all.. We call it our love tree… decorated with love by our dearest, most closest friends.. It is by far the best tree we could ever have asked for.
